In these hard economic times the news of another plant closing is not welcome in this area.  Earlier this week Dow-Reichold announced the closing of it’s plant in Kennsington, GA between LaFayette and Chickamauga.

The company said that they simply have to stream line their operations and that the plant would be closed causing 57 people to loose their jobs.  The operation produced latex products.
