A sheriff’s deputy responded to a call about a single-vehicle accident on South Little Sand Mountain Road late last Friday night.  When the deputy arrived on the scene and spoke with the driver, the driver said that a car had crossed over into his lane and caused him to run off into the ditch.  After entering the ditch, the front tire of the vehicle blew out and there was slight damage to the driver’s front bumper.  The Gore Fire Department had responded to the scene and was helping the driver change his tire.  The man was able to drive his vehicle away from the scene of the accident and there were no injuries reported.
