Agents with the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force arrested a fifty-one-year-old Lyerly man and charged him with possession of methamphetamine.  Agents say that James Melvin Bentley had methamphetamine, marijuana and hydrocodone pills in his possession when he was arrested on January 17th.  The drug task force says that Bentley had more than 40 grams of methamphetamine, a bag of pot and several of the pills.  He has been charged with methamphetamine possession and possession with attempt to distribute.   He is additionally charged with possession of a Schedule II substance and possession of marijuana.
