The Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force has served papers ordering stores in Walker and Dade Counties to pull Delta 8 and Delta 10 products from their shelves.

The notice says that anyone selling THC products above “point-three-percent THC” will be subject to arrest, prosecution and possible asset seizure.

Merchants say the problem lies in the interpretation of Georgia’s hemp laws and they believe the products are legal. They have vowed a fight to keep selling Delta 8 and Delta 10 and say it’s not fair that customers can simply drive to a different county to buy the products.

The Lookout Mountain Drug Task force serves several Northwest Georgia counties, including Chattooga County.
