On July 30th, a Chattooga County officer pulled over a woman traveling on Highway 27. 

A driver had just pulled out of a parking lot onto the highway when an officer saw the vehicle jerk into a lane suddenly. When the driver continuously switched lanes, the officer pulled the vehicle over. 

The officer could smell an odor of alcohol on the driver once she was being questioned. She told the officer that she had only had a little to drink, and had gone to bed. She had only left her home to pick up her boyfriend, who was working at Taco Bell off of Highway 27. When the officer asked for her license, she said that her license was suspended. She did give her name instead as Amanda Terry.

Ms. Terry agreed to taking sobriety tests, and the officer noted several clues that Ms. Terry had been drinking.

Ms. Terry was taken to the Chattooga County Jail for Driving Under the Influence.
