Chattooga County will see cooler and dryer weather this week. After a slight chance of showers today, there is no mention of rain in the seven-day forecast all the way through the weekend. That’s good news as the area continues to dry out and deal with the affects of the Labor Day Weekend Flood.
While daytime highs will continue to be in the upper-70’s to low-80’s, the humidity will be much less this week. At night, there will be a hint of fall in the air as we see nighttime temperatures dip into the mid 50’s to low 60’s throughout the week.
Historically, the last half of September is a dry period for Northwest Georgia, and it looks like that might be the case for us.
