By all accounts, Saturday’s Ducky Derby, sponsored by Summerville Main Street, was a big success. 

The event returned to the downtown Streetscape area and Town Creek over the weekend after being on hiatus for a couple of years due to the COVID pandemic.  Summerville Main Street uses proceeds from the event to help with the cost of downtown decorations during holidays – especially during the Christmas season.

American Roofing sponsored the prize winnings for this year’s event.  Corrina Long had the winning duck and Abbie Mae Henry came in second place; with Tom Evans taking home the third place prize.  The top prize was $500, with second place worth $250 and third place worth $100.

Summerville Main Street wants to thank the community for making the event a success.
