Early voting continues to be heavy in Chattooga County, with large numbers of voters casting their ballots at the Chattooga County Registrars Office.

Registrar Sheena Weaver told WZQZ News that as of mid-day on Wednesday, 2,420 people had voted early.  Her office has received 1,391 absentee ballots by mail.

Early voting takes place weekdays from 8:30 AM – 5 PM. Saturday early voting will take place this weekend from 9 AM until 4 PM at the Registrar Office.
