Chattooga County Commissioner Blake Elsberry has announced his bid for reelection.  The commissioner provided the following statement to WZQZ News on Thursday afternoon:

I am excited to announce my 2024 re-election campaign for Chattooga County Commissioner. It has been my privilege to serve the citizens of Chattooga County over the past 3 years and I am so proud of all that we have accomplished, but there is still more to be done.

I humbly ask for your vote, and my family and I thank everyone who has already offered their support.

I look forward to continuing to work hard for the citizens of Chattooga County and build upon what we have already accomplished, and I want to say thank you to all the other elected officials, county employees, and partners who have made the last 3 years so successful. It is a team effort and I look forward to continuing to work with you all.
