Chattooga County Commissioner Jason Winters will be holding the much talked about meeting concerning the future of the Chattooga County EMS this evening at the Chattooga County Civic Center in Summerville.

The commissioner told AM 1180 that both Redmond and Floyd submitted their proposals to his office last week and there will be representatives from both hospitals at the meeting to explain their proposals to the public.  The commissioner is expected to present figures on what it would cost for the county to continue and expand EMS service for the county.

Commissioner Winters has left the possibility open for another meeting in the future about the subject as well.  AM 1180 will air a broadcast of tonight’s meeting coming up Wednesday at 9AM and again later throughout the week.  Stay tuned for broadcast details.
