An entire class at Trion City Schools has been quarantined after a student tested positive for COVID-19, according to Trion School Superintendent Dr. Phil Williams.
Dr. Williams told WZQZ News on Monday morning, “A class in the elementary school has been quarantined. A positive case was confirmed this morning from a student or staff member. We are following the CDC and Department of Public Health Guidelines to quarantine the class because it is an early elementary grade level.”
Dr. Williams says that Trion Schools are taking every precaution and following the guidelines laid out by public health officials.
