Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union presents the Second Annual Chattooga River Fest Saturday, June 10th in Trion, GA. This year’s event, hosted by the Chattooga River Group, is set to be even bigger and better.

FREE KAYAK PADDLE Launch from Trion at 10a. Drop kayaks using the first drive on right past the RR tracks on Allgood Street. Park at Town Hall. We will shuttle kayaks and paddles from a private take-out point 5.43 miles down river. You MUST register to paddle with us. Same day registration starts at 9a. Mass start at 10a. FISH COOK-OFF Anyone interested, please contact us by Wednesday, June 7th. 706.857.4033 Must have at least 3 participants to conduct contest. We will award the winning participant a nice chef’s apron set.
CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT Team competition…limit 12 teams. Double-elimination means you get to play at least two matches. RAFFLES The Chattooga River Group will be raffling off a Sun Dolphin Boss 10 SS sit-on angler kayak with a CRG kayak kushion, sponsored by Atrium Health EMS and a set of cornhole boards by artist Billy Smith. Tickets for each are $2 or three for $5 and can be bought at the festival. Drawing is at 6p during the Awards Ceremony. You do not have to be present to win.

CANNED FOOD DRIVE The Community Resource Center will be holding a canned food drive. Help them fill up the boat!! Bring your donations to the West Gate by taking Marsh Avenue to the drop-off point.
ADMISSION, HOURS & RULES: Gates open at 9a. Admission is $5. Children 12 and under are free with adult. Bring a lawn chair and plan to stay all day. Get stamped at exits if you plan to return. No pets or coolers are allowed. Festival ends at 11p, after ARS’s last song.
PARKING: Free general parking is available at Mount Vernon Mills, the track field, and shuttle service is available from the triangle, the high school and Walmart, as needed, after 2p.
Handicapped parking ONLY on Park Avenue from Allgood St to the Main Gate.
DROP-OFF for volunteers, general audience over 12, and canned food drive items is at the West Gate in the circle. Take Marsh Avenue to West Gate for drop-off.
