Chattooga County Sheriff Deputies responded to a call about a theft this week.

On Wednesday, December 16th, Sheriff Deputies responded to an Austin Ave address and spoke with Michael Ware. Mr. Ware stated to the Officers that sometime between December 14th and the time of the report on December 16th, someone had entered his vehicle and had taken a little over $100. The missing money was taken from his wifes purse which was located in the front of the vehicle.

Deputies advised Mr. Ware that they would request extra patrol in the area. A report was taken and placed on file for future use.
