Thousands of users reported trouble accessing Facebook on Tuesday afternoon (March 3, 2026), with complaints ranging from login failures to site and app errors, according to outage-tracking data and published reports.

Outage monitor Downdetector showed reports surging in the mid-to-late afternoon Eastern time, with many users saying the website wouldn’t load or they were kicked out of accounts and couldn’t sign back in. Several reports described a broader disruption that also affected related Meta services in some areas.

Meta did not immediately provide a detailed public explanation for the consumer-facing disruption in the reports reviewed, but a separate incident log on Meta’s official status page indicated that Ads Manager experienced issues with ad creation/editing on March 3 and was later restored.

By early Wednesday (March 4), scattered user reports suggested lingering issues.

For Northwest Georgia users and businesses, even short disruptions can be a headache—interrupting community updates, school and event posts, local marketplace activity, and ad campaigns that many small businesses rely on for day-to-day reach.
