The Chattooga County Agricultural Fair will be taking place Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 26th-29th.  One of the features this year will be the additional of kitchen demonstrations.

Recently, the county completed renovations at the Chattooga County Ag Building’s kitchen, and the kitchen is going to get put to good use during this year’s fair.

The 2021 Chattooga County Agricultural Fair Agriculture Demonstration Kitchen will feature daily demonstrations by local gardeners, craftsmen, chefs, and experts.

Some of the kitchen demonstrations will include:

• Making Homemade Ice Cream
• Home Canning Basics
• Making Sourdough Bread
• Making Medical Salves
• Making Herb Vinegars & Oils
