Two family members were sentenced to prison on Thursday after being convicted of robbing Greater Community Bank. Reports said that Curtis Styles, 63 of Rome, and his nephew Michael Styles, 50, robbed the bank back on October 27th, 2014. 

They were found later in Polk County.

Curtis Styles was sentenced to 20 years, with 10 to serve, while Michael Styles was sentenced to 20 years, with 12 to serve.

They were convicted by a jury on November 17th of this year.

Reports said that Michael Styles handed a bank teller a note demanding money and said that he had a gun. After jumping the counter, Styles took the money and left. The elder styles had went into the bank right before his nephew took the cash.

Polk County officials pulled over a vehicle driven by Curtis Styles and found Michael Styles in the trunk with the stolen money.
