Last week, WZQZ News shared a story about a DeKalb County, Alabama man who died while operating a tractor.  The report we shared from an Alabama news outlet cited the cause of death as a “tractor accident.”  Family members of the deceased man contacted WZQZ News with the following statement:

“The coroner’s professional opinion for cause of death was a myocardial infarction and the tractor was subsequently damaged thereafter.”

Sixty-two-year-old Terry Glenn Pigg was operating a John Deere 6220 tractor at the time of the accident, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
