An Alabama family is looking for a pet that was lost during a serious accident between Lyerly and Alpine the day after Christmas.

An Alabama man wrecked his vehicle at the intersection of Josh Ward Road and Oak Hill Road in Lyerly.  The man had to be airlifted to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga by Lifeforce.  He was traveling with his small dog, which went missing after the accident and hasn’t been found.
