The Chattooga County Farm Bureau is planning to sponsor a political forum between the two candidates for Chattooga County Commissioner, Blake Elsberry and Jimmy Holbrook.

According to Garrett Hurley, Chattooga County Farm Bureau Young Farmer Chairman, the event will be held on September 24th at the Chattooga County Agricultural Building on Middle School Drive in Summerville.

Hurley says that the event will be moderated by an out-of-town moderator with questions and topics that are gathered from the public.

The number of people allowed at the venue will be restricted, according to COVID-19 guidelines.  However, Farm Bureau will stream the event on Facebook Live and WZQZ will simulcast the event on 99.1 FM.
