A motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene following a three-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Turner McCall Boulevard and Riverside Parkway Tuesday evening.
According to the Georgia State Patrol:
A White Volkswagen SUV traveling east made a left turn from Turner McCall into the path of a Yamaha motorcycle.
Multiple witnesses stated the driver of the motorcycle was driving recklessly and at an excessive speed. Mohammad Tahir of Cartersville, Georgia was pronounced dead at the accident scene, says Deputy Floyd Coroner John Hamilton. Tahir’s family was notified by the Georgia State Patrol.
The GSP’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the scene to assist with the investigation, which is ongoing.
