A Wednesday morning fire destroyed a home on Highway 27 between Trion and Lafayette – near Midway Auto Sales.

That call came into Walker County dispatch around 8:45am – with both the Walker Fire and Georgia Corrections units responding.

Fortunately, no one was injured.
