Fire caused extensive damage to an unoccupied home at 404 Cavendar Street in LaFayette, early Sunday morning.LaFayette and Walker County Fire fighters knocked down an exposure fire on a neighboring house and searched the burning structure. finding no one inside.
A vehicle also burned next to the affected single-story house. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
