A house fire on Tuesday evening left a house burnt to the ground.  The house was located on Burton Road in the Trion area. 

According to reports the Trion, Hays  and Summerville Fire Departments responded to the scene and received back up from other area fire departments because of lack of water in the area.

The house was a total loss.
