Visitors to the Georgia National Fairgrounds can now stay overnight on site for the first time.

Retreat Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of a new hotel at 100 General Courtney Hodges Boulevard in Perry—the first hotel ever located at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricultural Center. The property is a dual-branded Marriott hotel combining Fairfield by Marriott and TownePlace Suites by Marriott.

The hotel features 129 rooms, including 66 TownePlace Suites rooms designed for longer stays with kitchenettes, and 63 Fairfield rooms geared toward shorter visits. Leaders say the interior design is inspired by the fairgrounds, reflecting Perry’s agrarian heritage and equine culture.

The hotel sits inside the fairgrounds and connects to the Miller-Murphy-Howard Conference Center through an air-conditioned corridor, making it convenient for guests attending major events.

Amenities include a pool and spa, fitness center, guest laundry, electric vehicle charging stations, and 1824 Kitchen & Bar, a Marriott-exclusive restaurant. The property is also being promoted as the first Marriott hotel in Perry, aimed at boosting tourism and supporting the local economy.
