An unknown fisherman was taken to a nearby hospital after a fishing accident Tuesday.

 

According to the report by Chattooga County Sheriff's deputies, the man reportedly was on Hutchins Pond, on Hutchins Road, Menlo when his kayak flipped. The mad did have a life jacket.

 

The Menlo Fire Department responded and helped the man get out of the water. He was transported to a Floyd County Hospital by Redmond EMS, according to the report.
