A Floyd County couple remains hospitalized following an accident last Friday that killed a Summerville man. 

Bob Moore was still listed in critical condition at Erlanger Hospital on Wednesday afternoon after he and his wife were involved in a wreck Friday in Walker County. The couple was driving south on U.S. 27 in a Scion Xb when they were struck head-on by another vehicle and then hit again by another vehicle.

Peggy Moore has been upgraded from critical to stable condition and was being moved out of ICU.

Aaron Michael Dooley was traveling north along U.S. 27 when his vehicle crossed the center turn lane and continued into oncoming traffic just north of the Black Circle intersection.  Dooley died in the accident.  Funeral services were held earlier this week for Dooley.
