A Floyd County Jail inmate accumulated additional charges after police say he fought with an officer Saturday, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail reports:

Samuel Adam Kimbrough was charged with felony starting a riot in a penal institution and terroristic threats and acts. He was also charged with misdemeanor obstruction and battery, reports stated. Police said he spat blood at the officer and caused him to fear for his safety.

Kimbrough remained in jail Saturday night.
