The Trion Bulldogs will be making a long road trip this evening as they travel to begin the Class A playoffs.  The Bulldogs are ranked number eleven in the GHSA Class A public school power rankings and will be facing off against sixth ranked Turner County.

The Bulldogs are in the playoffs for the first time since 2012 and are coming off of two big wins; one against Walker 47-0 and St. Francis 34-7.  Turner County lost their last game to number three seed Irwin County 34-24.  

Trion Coach Justin Brown has had a week off to prepare the Bulldogs for tonight’s matchup and knows that his team must play sound defense against Turner County, who in recent matchups have been getting points on the scoreboard at the start of the game.
