The Chattooga Indians came out victorious in Friday night’s game against the Rockmart Yellow Jackets. The Indians got off to a slow start, but put points on the board at just the right time.
The Indians scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to give them the lead over Rockmart 25-13, which assured them a spot in the playoffs for the first time in two years.
The Trion Bulldogs triumphed over Darlington 21-14 to give them the No. 4 seed in the postseason games.
This loss for Darlington ended a 6 game winning streak the week before playoffs where they hold the No. 1 seed.
