According to a recent survey conducted by Forbes Advisor, Georgia drivers appear to be some of the most well-behaved motorists in the nation, in contrast with their counterparts in Hawaii, who were found to be the rudest drivers overall.

The survey, which compiled data from a sample of 5,000 drivers across the country, revealed that while Georgia drivers did exhibit certain less-than-ideal behaviors behind the wheel, such as speeding and eating while driving, their conduct on the roads was generally more courteous and restrained compared to drivers in other states.

This finding comes as something of a surprise, as Georgia is not typically associated with a particularly disciplined driving culture, with images of aggressive Atlanta commuters often springing to mind.

However, the data seems to indicate that Georgia motorists, on the whole, tend to adhere more closely to traffic laws and etiquette, avoiding the kinds of reckless, inconsiderate actions that have become all too common on highways across the United States, especially in places like Hawaii, where the survey results suggest drivers are far more likely to engage in road rage, cut others off, or disregard basic safety protocols.
