A former Chattooga County Deputy has been arrested by the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force on drug charges.  Thirty-five-year-old Marvin James Armstrong was booked into jail on felony charges of attempt or conspiracy to violate the Georgia Controlled Substance Act and use of a communication facility in commission of a felony involving controlled substances.  Armstrong was booked into the Floyd County Jail on the charges on Monday of this week.  Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader told WZQZ News that Armstrong was terminated the first week of August.
