The former mayor of Rossville, Georgia in Walker County is accused of sexually harassing a female city employee.  The Chattanooga Times-Free Press reports that former Mayor Teddy Harris was served a protective order after an investigation by the Rossville Police Department into the allegations.  Harris is accused of making sexually suggestive remarks, taking multiple photos of the employee in the workplace and coming by her office on a regular basis.  The employee alleges that the former mayor would ask her about her marriage and ask her about her sexual fantasies.  Harris did not seek reelection and his last day in office was December 31, 2023.  The protective order was granted by Walker County Superior Court and a full hearing on the matter is set for January 23rd.
