Animal Advocates of Chattooga County along with the Chattooga County Animal shelter are in need of people willing to be foster parents for dogs. The dogs that are eligible for foster are those on hold for rescue groups that need short term homes while they await transport. Puppies are especially vulnerable to disease and are being kept in foster homes. These dogs
and puppies will stay at the foster homes from 10 to 14 days depending on their transport schedule. At any time a foster parent may return the dog or puppy to the shelter if things do not work out. Fostering is a fun thing to do and saves a life!
Also, anyone willing to donate kennels, dog houses, bedding, please contact the shelter at 706-857-0679. They will arrange pick up and those empty kennels in your yard will be put to good use.
