A Freeze Watch is in place for Northwest Georgia, including Chattooga and surrounding counties, for tonight into Sunday morning.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City, Georgia says that temperatures tonight will dip down below freezing for most of the area.  The forecast low is expected to be 30 degrees, with some areas possibly seeing temperatures in the upper 20’s by tomorrow morning.

If you have outdoor plants that could be affected, you will want to bring those indoors this evening.  Also, be sure to check exposed pipes and outside faucets.

Temperatures on Sunday are only expected to climb into the low 50’s.
