The forum, sponsored by WZQZ News and The Summerville News, was held on Tuesday evening earlier this week and featured all six Chattooga County Board of Education candidates; that is,

• Seat #2 incumbent Alma Lewis (D), and challenger Brad Hayes (R);
• Seat #3 incumbent Eddie Massey (D), and challenger Sammy Ballard (R);
• Seat #4 incumbent Larry Weesner (D), and challenger Julia Houston (R).

Early voting for the County BOE race (as well as all other national, state, and local mid-terms) will continue through November 2nd. November 2nd is also the last day to request an absentee ballot, which must be submitted by November 9th. The general election will be held November 6th.
