Summerville Police responded to a call from Quick Mart, located at 11161 Highway 27 in Summerville, this week after a work van drove off without paying for gas.

When an officer responded to the location, the clerk on duty told the officer that a white work van pulled up and pumped $77 worth of gas and drove off without paying for it.

The clerk gave the responding officer a possible tag number, but police were unable to find a vehicle registration that matched the tag number given.
