
A forty-four-year-old Gaylesville, Alabama man was arrested over the weekend on multiple charges after fleeing from Chattooga County Sheriff’s Deputies on Saturday night.
Chattooga County deputies attempted to stop Christopher Tallent and he fled from the scene. Tallent drove into Cherokee County where he abandoned the vehicle and a foot-chase ensued.
Cherokee County deputies arrested Tallent for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding warrant on for failure to appear on a previous charge and he was also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tallent will face charges in Chattooga County as well.
