A Gaylesville man arrested just weeks ago in Chattooga County on charges of Driving Under the Influence and failure to maintain a single lane, is now in trouble in Cherokee County, Alabama for writing bad checks.
Sixty year old Robert Wayne Siffles of Gaylesville was arrested on December 8, 2010 in Chattooga County on the drunk driving charges and was arrested this past week for five counts of "Negotiating Worthless Negotiable Instruments" – or bad check charges.
This is not the first time Siffles has had problems with writing bad checks – he was also arrested on a failure to appear charge – the original charge being "Negotiating Worthless Negotiable Instruments."
Siffles was booked into the Cherokee County Jail on Thursday of this past week.
