Georgia now has the 6th highest foreclosure rate in the nation, according to Realty-Trac's September figures. And that's an improvement. In May, Georgia had the highest rate of foreclosure in the nation. That top spot is now held by Florida. Georgia's foreclosure rate has declined by 33 percent over the past year.
