The Georgia Foundation for Agriculture is celebrating a monumental achievement: the Georgia Ag Experience mobile classroom has officially reached every single county in the state of Georgia. This milestone was reached with a recent visit to Stewart County, marking the culmination of a four-year journey that began in 2021. Since its launch, the 36-foot mobile classroom has traveled over 210,000 miles, bringing interactive agricultural education to communities across the state.

To date, the Georgia Ag Experience has impacted over 51,000 students, partnered with more than 2,500 teachers, and collaborated with an impressive 1,270 volunteers. The mobile classroom, specifically designed for third through fifth graders, features a range of engaging, hands-on learning stations. These stations provide standards-based lessons that highlight Georgia’s key agricultural commodities and the diverse career opportunities within the industry. By making complex agricultural topics approachable and fun, the Georgia Ag Experience aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation for agriculture in young learners.

Operating year-round, the Georgia Ag Experience attends a variety of events, including school visits, library programs, festivals, and community events. This widespread accessibility ensures that students across the state have the opportunity to learn about Georgia’s vital agricultural industry.
