The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT)  announced it will suspend all construction-related lane closures on Georgia interstates during the upcoming Labor Day holiday weekend. The suspension of lane closures will take effect at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, and will remain in place until 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
