The Georgia News Network, the largest state-wide radio news network in the United States, has a weekly public affairs program called Georgia Focus that is heard locally each Sunday morning at 6 AM on WZQZ.  This week, host John Clarke will have a feature on Ukraine.

John Clarke’s guest will be Olga West, a Ukrainian who moved to the U.S. 23 years ago. She’s a passionate citizen of our country, serving as a Chaplain for the Veterans Administration and in the Airforce Reserve. Lately, much of her time is spent managing three Facebook Groups as her home country battles Russian troops. She’s using these groups to raise awareness of the situation in Ukraine, raise funds for relief efforts, and simply encourage prayers.

You can hear the program at it’s regular time at 6 AM this Sunday morning, and WZQZ will rebroadcast the program following the 10 AM news on Sunday morning.  We will also post the special to the local news page on our website so you can listen on demand.
