On Wednesday, April 27 tornadoes roared across portions of Georgia causing catastrophic damage. 16 counties have been declared Federal Disaster Areas.  This weekend GNN’s Public Affairs program, Georgia Focus, will present  a special program on relief and recovery efforts in these areas.  
Program guests will include representatives from GEMA, FEMA and Red Cross with updates on recovery efforts and information on how victims can get assistance and those wanting to provide assistance can help.
You can hear Georgia Focus weekly on AM 1180 at 5:30 PM on Saturday afternoons.  We will air this program at a special time at 8:30 AM this Saturday morning and at 5:30 PM on Sunday afternoon.
