A Georgia Highlands student was arrested Friday and charged with hacking into the college’s computer network  for the purpose of allegedly changing his grade.

According to law enforcement officials, the student, now identified as 19 year old Christopher Fowler of Bartow County was arrested in Cartersville by agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the FBI. Investigators took 4 computers  from Fowler’s home.

He was charged with computer trespassing and unlawful eavesdropping. According to the GBI additional charges, some related to Identity Theft, are pending. He is currently being held in the Bartow County Jail.
