A Georgia man lost his life at Desoto State Park in Mentone, Alabama over the past weekend.
Reports indicate that the thirty-one-year-old man from LaGrange died in the water at the park located in DeKalb County on Lookout Mountain. DeKalb County Coroner Tim Wilson said that the man was positively identified as Riley Dean Pearce.
The investigation into the incident continues. The man’s body had to be retrieved by helicopter, according to reports.
