A representative with Georgia Power has advised Chattooga EMA/911 that they will be doing aerial trimming of tree lines by helicopter in the Menlo and Cloudland area starting on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

The trimming by helicopter will continue through the first of the new year.

They will have road crews blocking traffic when a helicopter gets within 200 feet of the roadway.

Please be advised that Georgia Power work crews may be halting traffic in the Menlo and Cloudland area while aerial trimming is taking place and use caution when traveling in the work areas.
