Georgia reported over 700 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, pushing the state total past 51,000 according to data from the state Department of Public Health.
As Saturday evening, the Georgia Department of Public Health reported that the state’s confirmed cases had reached 51,359, an increase of 738 cases in a span of 24 hours.
The statewide death toll was at 2,178 as of Saturday.
Chattooga County is reporting 25 COVID-19 cases and two deaths according to the latest numbers from the Georgia Department of Public Health.
