
The Georgia Foundation for Agriculture (GFA) is offering $65,000 in scholarships to Georgia students pursuing degrees in agriculture, veterinary medicine, family and consumer sciences, or related fields. Scholarships are available in four categories:
– Scholarship for Agriculture: 10 scholarships of $3,000 each, with the top two applicants eligible for an additional $1,500 for high school students entering designated colleges with ag programs.
– Technical College Scholarship for Agriculture: Four $1,500 scholarships for students in Georgia accredited technical colleges studying agriculture-related fields like welding or culinary arts.
– Rising College Junior/Senior Scholarship for Agriculture: Eight $2,000 scholarships for college students majoring in ag-related fields at designated Georgia colleges.
– UGA College of Veterinary Medicine Scholarship: Two $5,000 scholarships for UGA Veterinary Medicine students specializing in large animal practice.
