the Adult Education Program at Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) is offering an Accelerated Program in several counties, including Chattooga, as part of a “Literacy to Workforce” initiative.

The Spring Semester begins on January 4th (2016) and daytime classes will be offered here in Chattooga County.

Participants will have an opportunity to earn their GED in as little as six months; students may also earn their GeorgiaBEST Certificate as part of that program.

To be eligible, all students must be sixteen years of age or older, and have a score of 6.0 or above on their tests for Adult Basic Information. 

Adults over the age of 22 who meet their Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act eligibility may be able to receive financial support.
