The family of a Menlo woman who died from a suspected fentanyl overdose last week in Walker County has set up a Go Fund Me account to help the woman’s two daughters, one who has special needs.

The Walker County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the fatal overdose that left three people dead last Monday.  Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson told WZQZ News that a family member went to check and found the three adults dead at a Chickamauga home.  They were identified as fifty-five-year-old Kevin Leroy Walker, seventy-year-old Donald Ray Wallin and thirty-seven-year-old Carla Joan Quillen.

The family says, “My family experienced the loss of my little sister yesterday morning. This is devastating to us all. My sister was a sweet beautiful soul. She has 2 daughter that loved her dearly. The youngest is special needs and was her moms best friend. She did not have life insurance. No family should ever have to do through what we’re trying to survive. We need money to help cover her funeral expenses and memorial. If anyone could please help just a little, our family we be forever grateful”.

The Northwest Georgia Department of Public Health has asked the GBI to investigate the latest round of deadly fentanyl here in Northwest Georgia.
